Vinyasa Yoga
(Yoga is so much more then just an exercise class, the word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word "Yuj" meaning unite, it is a union of body mind and breath, and its a way of life.
On the physical terms its balancing and harmonising the body, mind and emotions, and in the spiritual terms its a union of the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness.
All elements of yoga help you obtain a sense of well-being. The postures (Āsanas) help with flexibility, stamina and building physical strength and balance, whilst toning the body, improving joint health and massaging the internal organs.
The breathing techniques (Prānayāma) improves all the body systems by bringing oxygenated blood to all the muscles and organs, energising the body whilst releasing tension and keeping you in a vibrant healthy state of body and mind.
The Relaxation and Meditation helps with releasing the tension and allowing the mind to quieten and relax bringing inner peace. By reducing stress, yoga enhances and improves the immune system and overall physical and mental health.

By linking physical movement with conscious breathing yoga helps to raise postural awareness and filling the body with breath and energy. This helps the body cope with all the mental and physical stresses that modern day living and technology places on us. The Āsanas and Prānayāma practiced together helps to detoxify, relax and strengthen the body and it calms the monkey mind.
Regular yoga practice helps athletes and sports enthusiasts by reducing the stiffness in their soft tissues and joints, adjusting any postural imbalances and getting more mobility, which helps improve their performance and avoid injury.
